Welcome to Kids Eyecare
Thank you for choosing Nepean Optometric Clinic to care for your child’s eyes. When you choose NOC to care for your child’s eyes, we want the experience to be as pleasant as possible. Eye exams are an important part of maintaining our overall health. Even a child who cannot read can have an eye exam with the Optometrist. It is recommended that a child’s first eye exam be done before the age of 3 and then annually while they are in school. We are looking forward of seeing you!
Our office is equipped to perform a complete assessment of your child’s eyes. The Canadian Association of Optometrists strongly recommends a visual examination by the age of three to detect vision problems that could become permanent. Children in high risk groups such as those with a parent who has a turned eye, lazy eye or strong prescription, warrant particular attention with respect to early examinations.
